Ultra-Maxx HMPE Round Slings are made from a continuous loop of High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fibres encapsulated in a durable, double layer cover. Not only are they up to 80% lighter than other sling types, they’re also more flexible and easier to handle.

WHAT IS A HMPE HIGH PERFORMANCE ROUND SLING?
Ultra-Maxx HMPE Round Slings are made from a continuous loop of High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fibres encapsulated in a durable, double layer cover. HMPE is often classified as the strongest fibre in the world and is significantly lighter than polyester round slings or wire rope, allowing fewer riggers to perform the job in less time. Ultra-Maxx HMPE Round Slings are up to 80% lighter than wire rope slings and up to 60% lighter than polyester round slings. They have 75% less elongation when compared to polyester round slings, which makes for easier maneuvering in spaces with low headroom and precise spotting of the load.
